No, this isn't an attempt at a subliminal message to get you to subscribe to our newsletter. (Though, we would appreciate that and you can do so by going here).
Today's Everydata blog was motivated by this article from Fast Company announcing Apple Music now has more than 10 million subscribers. This got Mike and I thinking about all of the times that you are bombarded with raw numbers on subscriptions. For example:
- Is it true that 56% of all cable subscribers would dump ESPN to save $8 on their monthly bill?
- Does an on-demand wrestling service, WWE Network, now boast more than 1 million subscribers?
- How do increases in costs of original on-line content from service providers like Netflix have to be offset by increases in subscriber counts?
Did we mention we'd like you to subscribe to our newsletter here?
